On Wednesday, all students across P-6 participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime livestream reading of Aura Parker’s “Bowerbird Blues’. Every year a picture storybook written and illustrated by an Australian author is read simultaneously around the country in kindergartens, child care centres, schools and libraries, as a way of promoting the value of reading and literacy. Students then participated in a variety of activities centred around the book.
